My name is Daria Bardola, and I’m a commercial and fashion model with over a decade of experience in the industry. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with some amazing brands, such as Gelish, Merle Norman, Venus et Fleur, shein and others. I was honored to collaborate with talented individuals, including photographers, stylists, and designers who have inspired me along the way.
But my journey hasn’t just been about the glitz and glamour. I’ve faced challenges, learned valuable lessons, and grown as a person and a professional. I’m passionate about sharing my experiences with others, especially those who are just starting out in the modeling world.
Behind every highlight you see along the way is a long journey - one filled not only with obstacles and challenges, but also with valuable lessons, personal and professional growth, resilience, and the shaping of a strong character.
And here's my story:
I began modeling in Ukraine at a young age and quickly made a name for myself in the local fashion world. But when I moved to the U.S., even with experience under my belt, I found the industry here to be an entirely different universe—bigger, faster, and much more complex.
Learning how castings worked, building a portfolio that matched U.S. standards, knowing how to talk to agents and clients—these were all things I had to figure out. With time, I found my rhythm, and began working with brands like Gelish and Merle Norman, appeared on the cover of Cayman Vows, and was featured in Elle, Glamour, L’Officiel Baltique, and Cosmopolitan.
Now, I’m at a place where I clearly understand who I am in this industry. I know how to choose projects that align with my goals and turn down what doesn’t serve me. That confidence and clarity is what I want to pass on to the next generation of models.
I offer guidance not only on castings and portfolio building, but also how to manage career decisions, choose the best opportunities when offers come in, and stay grounded in a fast-moving world.
Eventually, I dream of building a larger community—where experienced models like myself can mentor and support those just starting out. Because I believe no one should have to navigate this path alone.
